Just read dim wit Donald Trump’s interview with Politico, and it’s embarrassingly bad. I’m surprised he didn't fall asleep midway through. Who knows, he might have, because it’s something he does in just about every other interview or meeting he takes part in. No wonder Putin isn’t showing much sign of changing his tactics in Ukraine. It really is time for Dozy Donald to go.

Another IDF war crime …
The video of two Hamas/Palestinian men being murdered by the IDF as they surrendered is deeply troubling, though not surprising. The death toll in Gaza, and the rising death toll in the West Bank, together with the increasing number of videos showing illegal Israeli settlers threatening and killing Palestinians legally settled in the West Bank, shows that a large number of Israelis have no respect for the laws of their country or international law on war crimes. Time for the International community to prosecute them.

Tubby Trump …
After watching Donald Trump call a female news reporter ‘piggy’ after she asked him about the Epstein files, I wonder if the news media should start referring to him as ‘Tubby’ or ‘Demented Don’? If it’s okay for him to call people names, which he obviously thinks it is, then perhaps the press should respond in kind. Just saying … .

More rambling bullshit from Trump …
AFTER THE DEMOCRATS success in the special elections and the New York Mayoral election, I had the misfortune to hear Trump give a rambling speech on how he wants Republicans to abolish the ‘filibuster’ and ‘blue slips.’
As always with his so-called speeches, he rambled on using the same cliched insults and lies against Democrats or anyone else who doesn’t agree with him. It makes me wonder what his response will be to the Supreme Court Judges if they shoot down his tariff rulings?
Whilst the justices have shown more than a little favouritism towards him in some of their previous decisions, I’m not sure there’s enough ambiguity in the legal discourse to get him off the hook this time. And if they do rule against him, it makes me wonder how he’ll slate them?

Yet another war crime …
FOR A COUNTRY THAT LIKES TO boast about it\s military and Intelligence Service, Israel once again kill mostly women and children in their latest breach of the Gaza ceasefire. It really is time that Netanyahu and his cabinet supporters are arrested and put before a criminal court.

All image, no substance …
I see Trump’s pitiful Defence Secretary Pete Hegseth has sent a number of ‘overweight’ troops back to base. I recall serving with men who weren’t necessarily ‘slim’ but who had passed all the requisite fitness tests.
Hegseth’s problem, like his draft dodging boss, is that he’s all image and no substance. It’ll be interesting to see how long it is before the Generals and Admirals call him out. What will he do then, sack them? I don’t think so.

It’s like a competition …
LISTENING TO THE BBC news reporting on the killing at a synagogue in Manchester, it’s like a competition for all those being interviewed to find the most dramatic words or turn of phrase to describe what’s taken place.
Another low for the US …
WATCHING AND LISTENING TO PETE HEGSETH, one has to wonder where Trump manages to find such low intellect individuals to fill key positions in his administration. What is obvious, is that Hegseth’s plan for the armed forces in the US isn’t good.
As someone who has done time in the military, I’ve seen and heard men like Hegseth before. Their thinking is two dimensional at best, and mirrors their own inadequacies and insecurities. One can be pretty sure Hegseth wasn’t an outstanding soldier. I’d also suggest he was probably out performed by female colleagues - hence his angst towards women in the military.
Perhaps the 800 senior officers who were forced to come back to the US from wherever they were serving should disobey his orders. What would he do, sack them all? I don’t think so.

More rambling shite …
HAD THE MISFORTUNE TO TURN the television on to find the Orange Clown rambling on about alleged immigrants supposedly threatening the military personnel he’s drafted in to stop the supposedly out of control crime rate in Washington and wherever else he’s sent the military to.
It’s all bullshit of course, and so ironic coming from a draft dodger. I notice we don’t get to see the audience he’s talking to. After an hour of this meandering shit, they’re probably struggling to stay awake.
As one of the journalists watching it has rightly pointed out, the audience consists of hundreds of senior military figures who were summoned from their posts across the world to come and listen to his drivel, at a cost of millions of dollars.

Israel hits a new low …
TODAY THE ISRAELI’S announce they are closing the only entry point through which Humanitarian aid can enter from Jordan. They give no reason as yet, but it seems they are trying hard to be as inhumane as the Nazis were to the Jews in World War Two.

More nonsense …
THE ORANGE CLOWN has been spouting more nonsense, this time about paracetamol. One has to wonder why he’s doing this. Most likely it’s to try and convince the US population that the vaccine sceptic he’s put in charge of Federal Health isn’t a crank. Unfortunately, the danger he’s putting women and children in by trying to get them to believe the crap he’s coming out with is very real. I’ve seen some bad US Presidents in my time, but Trump is the worst by a long way.

Time to sanction Israel …
Having commented on the bullshit coming out of the US Government, it’s time to mention the bullshit coming out of Israel.
Netanyahu is once again trying to present Israelis as victims. Somewhat ironic given the IDF have killed more than 63,000 people in Gaza and reduced most of the buildings to rubble. Now that’s terrorism to an extreme degree, and given Israel shows no signs of stopping the killing and the destruction, methinks it’s time to apply sanctions to Israel.
More bullshit …
TRUMP’S DAILY DOSE OF BULLSHIT will continue today as he tries to get the population of the US excited by spouting some scientifically dubious claims about paracetamol use and autism. As with everything Trump says, truth will be in short supply. One also has to wonder how long he will stay on topic, before he starts to ramble on about unrelated matters.
All of which raises the question as to how far his mental decline will be allowed to go before he’s considered unfit to be in charge. Unfortunately, given the lack of intellect amongst those who surround him, the prospect of a more inspiring or imaginative replacement isn’t an option. It begs the question: Is this really the best the US can do?

The radical US right …
SCROLLING THROUGH MY news feed, the killing of Charlie Kirk dominates. As usual, Trump blames the ‘radical left’ for the killing, even though the suspect hasn’t yet been identified or arrested.
Whilst I appreciate Trump’s intellect is limited and, as happens with those who are not bright, prejudice, bigotry, and stereotypes tend to dominate their thinking and discourse. However, as President, what Trump says can and will have serious repercussions.
So, if bad things are to be avoided, the mainstream US media need to step up to the plate and actively challenge the Orange Clown and his cronies. If they don’t, the US is going to head into a dark and deeply divided place.
Who knows, as and when Kirk’s killer is caught, he might turn out to be a radical right winger. I wonder what Donald would say then?

the orange buffoon …
Grey day
THE GREY DAY has worsened and there's drizzle now. A silver grey van draws up and the driver gets out and walks down to the house next door, parcel in hand. A few minutes later he walks back to the van, and spits before getting to into the drivers seat. He then starts eating. After seven or eight minutes he finally drives off. Makes me wonder if this is the highlight of my day?

Israeli bullshit ...
Listening to what Netanyahu is saying about the French declaration on recognising a Palestinian state, and that it's 'direct aid to terrorism' is a load of bullshit. What the UK and other countries in the EU need to do is follow France's example, that way the dynamic that's been in place for so long will change. Israel know that, which is why they are so critical and resistant to such statements.

Life on the front line ...
LIFE ON THE FRONT LINE OF separation and divorce isn't easy, especially when you had no inkling it was going to happen. It's been over a year now since she left, and the sense of loss and loneliness that goes with it are no easier to deal with.
With no one to talk to you spend a lot of time talking to yourself or, as I do, writing things down. It's a cathartic exercise, amongst other things, and one I now intend to make more public. My reason for doing so is all down to a guy called Ernie Pyle.
Ernie was a US press reporter who served with US and allied soldiers during World War Two. He used to write about those he served with, and the things they experienced on the frontline and elsewhere. His dispatches would be sent back home to the US and they make for great reading. They've certainly helped and inspired me.
Sadly, Ernie was killed on 18th April 1945, but his dispatches live on and, as he did, I'm going to write about my day to day life on the front line of separation and divorce. It might read like an improbable fiction at times, but it's not.
