AFTER THE DEMOCRATS success in the special elections and the New York Mayoral election, I had the misfortune to hear Trump give a rambling speech on how he wants Republicans to abolish the ‘filibuster’ and ‘blue slips.’
As always with his so-called speeches, he rambled on using the same cliched insults and lies against Democrats or anyone else who doesn’t agree with him. It makes me wonder what his response will be to the Supreme Court Judges if they shoot down his tariff rulings?
Whilst the justices have shown more than a little favouritism towards him in some of their previous decisions, I’m not sure there’s enough ambiguity in the legal discourse to get him off the hook this time. And if they do rule against him, it makes me wonder how he’ll slate them?
