No longer an improbable fiction …

As Trump heads to the DAVOS Conference in Switzerland, it seems he’s keen to destroy the established world order, all because he didn’t get the Nobel Peace Prize.

It’s always been obvious that Trump isn’t an intelligent individual, but now he’s going to find out the hard way that despite the position he holds in the world order, he might find it more difficult than he imagines to invade a friend and ally.

And as for the trade war he’s threatening, I think the economic ‘bazooka’ the Europeans have to counter coercive action, will screw the US more than 200 percent tariffs will screw Europe. Let’s hope Congress and the American people impeach him before things turn bad.

Minneapolis murder …

The killing of Renee Nicole Good in Minneapolis by an ICE officer is shameful, as are the claims and the reworking of what actually happened by the Orange Clown, Vance, Noem, and the other brown nosing right wing cronies that make up Trump’s administration.

The amount of video coverage of ICE officers in other places across the US has already shown their tendency to behave in legally dubious ways. Sadly, Renee Good’s death is evidence that ICE is simply not up to the job.

Worse still, the response of the Trump administration, and the FBI’s insistence on investigating the matter rather than the local police, suggests a reworking of the facts to put them in line with Trump and Vance’s interpretation might well be on the cards. It really is about time that Trump and his corrupt regime were ousted.

The world is now a more dangerous place …

TRUMP’s MILITARY INTRUSION INTO Venezuela is a worrying development. This is not to deny that Maduro isnt worthy of being brought to book for what he does, but doing it in the way Trump has is the issue.

Given Trump’s ego and the fact that he didn’t lose any of this military it will merely embolden him to do the same again elsewhere, especially if he manages to get his hands on Venezuela’s oil, because ultimately that’s the driving force behind his actions.

Meanwhile, US taxpayers are poorer under his policies and his approval ratings are lower than ever. It makes me wonder how long it will be before a disgruntled US citizen or a Venezuelan citizen decides to take him out.
